An iconic campus in the heart of urban Beverly Hills, this project involved extensive surveys and analysis of the existing MEP site utilities and buildings to assist in master planning and executing modernization and growth work including Science and Technology Center addition) This 6-month process involved extensive field surveys, studies and testing to prepare a comprehensive recommendation for repair/ replacement or upgrades. The new Science Center is a state-of-the-art facility that connects the existing campus to the adjacent urban setting. The new building includes 18 math classrooms, 12 science labs, a 100 student fixed seat lecture hall, faculty work areas, and a multi-purpose Educational Development Center. The building is served by a central plant on the campus to central VAV air-handlers on the roof. The system is a high-efficiency VAV/ reheat cooling/ heating system.
