Located in the areas of Livermore and Pleasanton, California, this project concerned the new single story 6,900 sf fire station. The project was designed for LEED Silver “certifiable” only. The HVAC scope included providing high efficiency HVAC systems to area of work, ventilation for toilets, custodial rooms, laundry rooms, storage rooms etc. as required, cooling for equipment rooms as required, temperature controls for HVAC, and kitchen hood ventilation and make-up air for kitchen. The plumbing scope included domestic cold and hot water, sanitary waste and vent, storm drain and natural gas piping.  All the plumbing systems stub out only five feet from the building except gas. The scope included providing plumbing for toilet rooms, plumbing for kitchen, plumbing area drains, building storm drain piping, condensate and gas for HVAC equipment, gas for heating and domestic boilers, and exterior hose bibs as was required. The fire sprinkler scope included specifications as well as reviewing and approving contractor shop drawings.
