This project included a proposed restaurant approximately 11,000 sq. ft. tenant improvement. Also included was a small 1,500 sq. ft. café called Little Raddish. The mechanical scope for this included providing HVAC plans which included new HVAC units and air distribution and HVAC for area, new ventilation for new grease hoods, ventilation for dishwashing area, providing make-up air and the exhaust fans for the hood(s), hoods specified by kitchen consultant, new grease exhaust duct as required, new air distribution in kitchen, stand-alone temperature controls, and title-24 calculations. The plumbing included providing domestic hot water heaters for the kitchen, gas piping distribution to all cooking equipment as required, using existing grease interceptor, providing calculations to justify re-use, condensate drain piping for HVAC equipment, and kitchen plumbing included hand sinks, floor drains, floor sink, ice machine, dishwasher, and cooktop etc. The electrical scope included providing electrical system design that complied with the requirements of the latest California Building Code including preparing construction documents to provide new wiring from existing panel to new HVAC equipment and providing disconnect for new HVAC equipment as was required to meet electrical requirements, designing all 120V power or control system as designed by mechanical engineer, new lighting as was required for interior space, and title-24 calucations for interior lighting.
