This project is located in Costa Mesa, California, and was primarily focused on providing (3) new split system AC units for the office area. The HVAC scope included designing a complete system that complied with the requirements of the latest California Mechanical Code. Mechanical plans were provided for indoor fan coil units and outdoor condensing units, piping as was required for new HVAC, air distribution as was required for new HVAC, fresh air ventilation system as was required per code and stand-alone temperature controls. The plumbing scope included providing plumbing that complied with the requirements of the latest California Plumbing Code. The scope included condensate piping as was required for new HVAC. The structural scope included structural support as was required for new HVAC. The electrical scope included providing electrical system design that complied with the requirements of the latest California Building Code including power new HVAC equipment, preparing construction documents to re-connect existing wiring or provide new to all HVAC equipment as was required to meet electrical requirements of new HVAC units, designing all 120V power for control system as was designed by Mechanical Engineer, and fire alarm system extension to initiating devices for new HVAC systems for new duct smoke detectors. The structural scope included structural support as was required for new HVAC. The electrical scope included providing an electrical system design that complied with the requirements of the latest California Building Code which included power for new HVAC equipment, preparing construction documents to re-connect existing wiring or provide new to all HVAC equipment as was required to meet electrical requirements of new HVAC units, designing all 120V power for control system as was designed by Mechanical Engineer, and fire alarm system extension to initiating devices for new HVAC systems for new duct smoke detectors.
